South Bay Show-N-Go
flat /10-12 mph/40.4 miles/elevation 245 ft
Meet 8:45 am at Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge, 2 Marshlands Rd, Fremont
After turning onto Marshlands Road, it’s the first parking lot on the right.
(there is a porta potty at the parking lot)
Let’s stay near the Bay and explore the South Bay a little! We’ll use lots of off-street paths, and well-marked bike lanes. The hard-packed gravel sections can be ridden on narrow road tires, but bring your wide-tire bike if you have one! We’ll pass by Moffett Field (NASA Ames) and visit an egret rookery on the Google campus. Lunch is at the 27.5-mile point at Michael’s (Shoreline golf course), followed by the closing stretch over the Dumbarton Bridge.
Please sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com. From the menu under “Rides”, “Ride Waiver Form”.

Bring water, snack and money for food.
