SUMMARY:Progressive wkend # 2 of 6 on Saturday - Dumbarton Bridge to Starbuck's and back
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n  \n\n2/L/33 miles \nJoin me on a small group progressive which began on  Aug 10 & 11 \nTour the Bay Area and see what’s in our own backyard. \nMost rides will start from San Leandro. \nIf you missed a ride\, no worries. Feel free to hop into the program at any time. \nNote:  \nEach ride is gradually longer in distance and the terrain will become more challenging. The goal is to build endurance to ride 40 miles and prepare some on upcoming events such as the Waves to Wine (43 & 42 miles back to back) or the Tour De Fuzz. \nIf you can only ride Saturday’s or Sunday’s? No problem. \nThere will be ride offerings for both days for 6 wks so that you can do one or the other or both pending your personal goals. \nThis ride will roll from the Union City BART station at 10:00 am. Your options are to meet 9:00 a.m. at the San Leandro BART station or 9:45 am at the Union City BART station. We will hop onto the Alameda Creek Trail nearby\, loop around a regional park for a view of the bay\, out on Patterson Ranch Rd to the Don Edwards Staging Area and then up and over the Dumbarton Bridge to Starbuck’s. There will be an ice cream option if interested before heading back onto the Alameda Creek Trail on our way back to the BART station. There will be a doable short hill at Coyote Hills Regional Park along the bay trail with rollers and a moderate climb over the Dumbarton Bridge. \nBring water\, snack and $$. \nContact: Vicky Ma 510 813-6690 mobile/text or creativesource@outlook.com
