SUMMARY:Shaka Shack Alameda to Bay Trail South - NO KINGS Ride
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Mar 28th\, 2026\nFlat ride: 500 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 20 miles \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-394-8684 by Friday 8pm or fill out the Ride Waiver form.\nMake sure to fill out the Ride Waiver form. \nThis Saturday has all of the big NO KINGS protest rallies\, so we plan to have this ride end at 11:30 — in time to go to the rally in Alameda or Oakland. \nMeet in front of Shaka Shack (formerly Little House Café)\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 9:20 AM and ride at 9:30 AM. Parking is available on Blanding and Clement Ave. We are going to be riding the Bay Trail south to the San Leandro Marina\, then return through the Oakland Airport and Fernside in Alameda.   We are doing 20 flat miles\, so it should take less than two hours at a moderate speed\, with no lunch stop.  Those going to the Alameda rally can join us at one of the South Shore restaurants after the rally. \nThe ride will be canceled if the chance of rain is 30% or more. \nRide Leader: Steven Yoder 510-394-8684; email: steve@zlcsoftware.com \nBring a helmet\, carry a nutritional bar\, bring a bottle of water and $ for food. \n  \n \n
