DESCRIPTION:3/L/38 miles \nJoin me on a small group progressive which began on Aug 10 & 11 \nTour the Bay Area and see what’s in our own backyard. \nMost rides will start from San Leandro. \nIf you missed a ride\, no worries. Feel free to hop into the program at any time. \nNote:  \nEach ride is gradually longer in distance and the terrain will become more challenging. The goal is to build endurance to ride 40 miles and prepare some on upcoming events such as the Waves to Wine (43 & 42 miles back to back) or the Tour De Fuzz. \nIf you can only ride Saturday’s or Sunday’s? No problem. \nThere will be ride offerings for both days for 6 wks so that you can do one or the other or both pending your personal goals. \nThis Saturday’s ride: \nSmashing waves\, coastal rocks through lanes of Cypress and alluring beaches… \nThis is a laid-back ride. If you have not traveled through Carmel with its beautiful vistas\, go for the experience. Parts of this ride is hilly but worth the effort. If needed\, get off your bike and walk. No worries on this course as this is part of the Progressive and hills are introduced.
