DESCRIPTION:Due to inland heat upwards into the 90’s\, a change for cooler options moves this ride originally Cull Canyon\, to Rosie the Riveter in Richmond. New details below. \n2/L/36 miles \nJoin me on a small group progressive which began on Aug 10 & 11 \nTour the Bay Area and see what’s in our own backyard. \nMost rides will start from San Leandro. \nIf you missed a ride\, no worries. Feel free to hop into the program at any time. \nNote:  \nEach ride is gradually longer in distance and the terrain will become more challenging. The goal is to build endurance to ride 40 miles and prepare some on upcoming events such as the Waves to Wine (43 & 42 miles back to back) or the Tour De Fuzz. \nIf you can only ride Saturday’s or Sunday’s? No problem. \nThere will be ride offerings for both days for 6 wks so that you can do one or the other or both pending your personal goals. \nMeet 1:00 pm at the San Leandro BART Station. This ride will roll at 1:15 pm. \nThe terrain on this route is mostly on the flats and Bay Trail riding with a short hill behind Golden Gate Fields. We’ll roll into Alameda\, Oakland’s Lake Merritt\, Emeryville and Berkeley to Rosie the Riveter in Richmond.
