We’ll cycle to the end of 3 roads in the Tri-Valley area: Finley\, Green Valley and Las Trampas. \nFor a shorter 42 mile option\, do Finley and Green Valley. Skip Las Trampas and head back to the start. Split from the group at Deerwood. It’s an easy direct route back to the car with 1731 ft of elevation. \nWe’ll break at about 19 miles at the Blackhawk Plaza and mile 33 at Maison Benoit in Danville. DESCRIPTION:moderate terrain/10-14 mph/approx 32 miles/elevation 978 ft\nIf you’re looking for a nice relaxed no stress social or recovery ride\, meet 10:00 a.m. at Lucky’s California in Pleasanton. The route starts out flat on the Iron Horse Trail and returns on flats along Alcosta Blvd. A gradual pastoral grade into the Las Trampas Wilderness Regional Park is in the middle of the route.  \nTaking BART?  \nGet off at the end of the Pleasanton Dublin Bart line. Exit on the Pleasanton side\, go down on Willow Rd approx. 1 mile. Right turn on W. Las Positas. Lucky’s is at the Hopyard intersection.  \nYou may sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com. From the menu under “Rides”\, “Ride Waiver Form”.  \nBe sure to plug in the correct date. \nThis ride will be cancelled if there’s more than 30% rain or wet roads. \nBring water\, snack and money for food.
