DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Oct. 2nd\nSomewhat Hilly with flats ride: elevation 1568 ft\, 10-15 mph\, approx 40 miles\nLet’s take BART and meet at 9:50 am at the front entrance of Bayfair BART. By arriving at 9:50 am\, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. The ride rolls at 10:15 AM from the BayFair BART and climb the Oakland hills and descent down Claremont Ave. We’ll stop for a coffee break or a lunch break along the way as we ride back return via the flatlands\, through Berkeley\, Oakland and Alameda. Bring water\, food and money. \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-788-0597 by Friday 8pm. \nBring water\, snack\, money for BART and food. Rain Cancels. The ride will be canceled if there 90 plus degree weather or a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday. DESCRIPTION:flat/8-12 mph/14 or 25 miles/elevation 250 ft\nThis ride will take us from SL BART to the Bay Trail\, on which we will ride North to Harbor Bay Isle – where we will stop at a coffee shop.  Some of the group may turn around there for a 14 mile ride.  The rest will continue into Alameda and return on other parts of the Bay Trail.  This is a very flat ride\, but with lots of bridges and sharp turns to negotiate.  Very scenic and not as crowded with walkers as other local bike trails. \nMeet 9:30 am for a 10:00 start at the San Leandro Bart Station. \nCome with your bike mechanically sound\, air in tires.
