DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Sept. 19th\nFlat ride: 354 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, 26.24 miles \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-788-0597 by Friday 5pm or fill out the Ride Waiver form. \nThis is a perfect ride for Newbies or cyclists that have not been riding much over the summer. Met in front of the Shaka Shack location (address and map at the bottom of the page). Street parking is available. Here is the Rider Waiver link to fill out. We are going to ride a flat route to Oakland Airport area and continue back to our start point (for those that need a shorter ride)\, then thorough Alameda to the naval base to the USS Hornet and have lunch on the naval base. Elevation Gain of 354 ft so it is definitely a flat ride. DESCRIPTION:moderate terrain/8-12 mph/42 miles/elevation 854 ft\nThere are foods\, wineries\, views and great cycling roads around the Alexander Valley wine region. Those of us familiar with the area find ourselves wizzing by interesting spots with no time to stop. So many places to experience. We are checking out some of the highlights along this route. \nMeet 9:45 am for a 10:00 start at the front entrance of the Russian River Brewery for a clockwise loop. \nWe’ll ride through Healdsburg town on the way out and on the return. Our first stop is for a small bite & coffee at “Quail and Condor”. From there\, we’ll continue to Francis Coppola Winery and then to a quiet dead end road to Stuhlmueller Winery. Jimtown has reopened. Shall we pause there after a stop at Stonestreet Winery? From this location\, we head back to the start. DESCRIPTION:Let’s grab a spot in the patio if the weather is nice. We look forward to a monthly social with friends\, Bike Walk San Leandro\, Cherry City Cyclists\, locals\, bike enthusiast\, pedestrian advocates. Happy Hour at Murry’s is from 2-6 pm if interested in a broader window but the usual suspects float in 5-7 p.m. as some attendees are still working.  \nThe bar can look daunting from the outside but it is a relaxed space with a friendly vibe inside. You may even bring your own food. COME and join us for an evening in the neighborhood even if you don’t eat or drink. Arrive and leave when you need to. \nIf you have a bike\, you are welcome to park it in the patio. The establishment also has it’s own parking lot. \nLook for a Cherry City vest or jersey. \nHope to see you there!
