SUMMARY:Leisurely Dim Sum\, Coffee\, Alameda Loop
DESCRIPTION:Easy/8-12 mph/35 miles/elevation 321\nJoin me for a relaxed casual ride starting from a brewery to Dim Sum House for take out. Bring a backpack or have pockets to stuff food. A sandwich size Ziplock bag is also a good idea. \nMeet 9:30 a.m. at Fieldwork Brewery in San Leandro. \nOverview: \nWe’ll cycle through the city and head to the Dim Sum House for delectable bites of steamed\, fried or baked Chinese hors d’oeuvres that can be sweet or savory\, a snack or a meal. This is for “take out” only vs a restaurant. It is approximately $5.00 per order which usually includes 3-4 pieces of the same item. This makes it fun\, shareable with others and making it tough not to sneak in a bite before leaving. \nNext..we will enter the Bay Trail from Grant Ave. This is a dedicated paved bike pedestrian path that goes into Alameda leading us pass the Harbor Bay Ferry\, across the Blue Bridge and the Alameda Shoreline to Coffee Culture. This will be a longer sit down break where you may purchase drinks\, order a pastry or enjoy any of the “take out” items that you haven’t already devoured earlier in the ride. \nThe return route is on the east side of Doolittle on the Martin Luther Shoreline and a short cut through Drakes Brewery back to Fieldwork’s atrium for a post ride social if interested. \nPlease sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com from the menu under “Rides”\, “Ride Waiver Form”. \nBe sure to plug in the correct date. \nBe sure to wear a helmet and have air in the tires before you start the ride. \nBring water\, snack and $$ for food. \nContact: Vicky Ma 510 813-6690 mobile/text or creativesource@outlook.com

DESCRIPTION:Flats & hills/8-12 mph/approx 37 miles/elevation 2\,000\nRide like a local. I’m a native of San Francisco and I love the sights and smell of the city. Come along with me as I navigate through the neighborhoods and stop at some of my favorite spots. SUMMARY:Marin Headlands and Sausalito
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, April 20th\nMarin Headlands and Sausalito.\nApprox 30 miles; 3400 feet climbing.\nMeet at 10:15 am at San Francisco Ferry Building in the back by the closed Slanted Door.  Best to arrive early\, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. Ride rolls at 11:00 am.  Starting from the Ferry Building\, we will ride up the Embarcadero\, through Fisherman’s Wharf and the Marina\, up to the GG Bridge then up Cozumel – to the some of the best views of the bridge and San Francisco.  Then we can enjoy the long\, steep one-way descent to Point Bonita and back through the tunnel to get to Sausalito – where we will stop for food\, etc.  Then we climb back to the GG Bridge\, through the Presidio to GG Park\, down Page Street to Market Street and the Civic Center Bart Station.   \nThis route has some challenging climbs – but you can skip Cozumel and go straight down to Sausalito (and wait there for the rest to show up).  That will give you only one big climb: to get back up to the GG Bridge.   \nThe ride will be canceled if there 90 plus degree weather or a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday. Check Friday evening from this Weather Underground link: https://www.wunderground.com/hourly/us/ca/sausalito. Check for the hours between 11am and 4pm. Bring water\, food and money. \nRide Leader: Steven Yoder 510-394-8684 or by email: steve@zlcsoftware.com \n  \n  \nMore Details\n

SUMMARY:Food Tour
DESCRIPTION:Easy/8-12 mph/35 miles/elevation 352\nJoin me for a fun casual ride through parts of San Leandro\, San Lorenzo and Alameda. \nBring a backpack or have pockets to stuff food. A sandwich size Ziplock bag comes in handy too. \nMeet 10:00 a.m. at Fieldwork Brewery in San Leandro. \nOverview: \nWe’ll cycle through the city for “take outs”. As Kneaded\, an artisan bakery is the 1st stop. Before we enter the Bay Trail on Grant Ave\, we’ll head to Dim Sum House our 2nd stop . Coffee Culture will be the only place we’ll stop for a longer sit down break at about 23 miles.  \nWhat is Dim Sum? \nThey are delectable bites of steamed\, fried or baked Chinese hors d’oeuvres that can be sweet or savory\, a snack or a meal. This trip allows you to try a “take out” version vs a restaurant. The quality rivals some of the top restaurants in the Bay Area. Average order per person with 3 of the same bites is approximately $5.00. This allows you to share with others. \nNext..we will enter the Bay Trail from Grant Ave. This is a dedicated paved bike pedestrian path that goes into Alameda. However\, we will exit onto Doolittle Drive briefly to hop onto the Martin Luther Shoreline. This is another dedicated paved bike pedestrian path that also goes into Alameda. \nOur sit down stop will be at Coffee Culture where you may purchase drinks\, order a pastry or enjoy any of the “take out” items that you haven’t devoured earlier in the ride. \nThe return route will eventually take us back onto the Bay Trail to Fieldwork’s atrium for a post ride social if interested.
