Early start to beat the heat. Meet 8:15 am at Fieldwork San Leandro for a 8:30 start to Cull Canyon out and back on pastoral roads. We’ll break for brunch at about mile 28 and take the Bay Trail back to the start. DESCRIPTION:Hills/10-12 mph/39 miles/elevation 1\,500 ft\nThis ride is cancelled due to excessive heat. \nMeet 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasanton/Dublin Bart Station (the end of the line) on the Pleasanton side parking lot pick up area. The hills are on the middle portion of the route bookend by flat roads. We’ll take the Iron Horse Trail out to Old Vineyard Rd\, up Wetmore\, to Marina\, Tesla\, Mines Rd and then up Del Valle to the top. Mendenhall Rd or to the bottom of Del Valle are options for more climbing or miles. There are several regroups along the way and at the top of Del Valle. We’ll cycle through Holdener Park (option to skip this section for a flat road) and Stanley on the way back to the start. \nYou may sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com.
