SUMMARY:Tour of Lamorinda
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, January 28th\nStart in Orinda and ride the best cycling roads of the area.\n1000 or 3000 ft\, approx 16 or 35 miles.\nMeet at 10:45 am at the Orinda Library (cafe) 2 blocks north of Orinda BART.  Best to arrive early\, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. Ride rolls at 11:00 am from Orinda.  We start with a fairly easy route\, and then offer a more challenging second loop.  We start with an easy climb over to Moraga\, then mostly downhill to Lafayette\, then back to Orinda.  Then those who wish to continue with a more challenging route will ride out Miner Rd to Happy Valley\, to Bear Creek\, Alhambra Valley\, and Camino Diablo back to Orinda.  Mostly very scenic country roads and trails. \nThe ride will be canceled if there 90 plus degree weather or a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday.
