DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, August 5th\nModerate hills in the ride: 850 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 30 miles \nMeet in front of Little House Café\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 10:15AM and ride at 10:30AM. Street parking is available. We are going to ride a flat route to Oakland Airport area and continue through Alameda to the naval base to the USS Hornet and have lunch on the naval base. Elevation Gain of 354 ft so it is definitely a flat ride. DESCRIPTION:flats & hills w/options /10-12 mph/38 miles/elevation 2\,052 ft\nMeet Sunday\, 9:00 a.m. This ride starts from Lucky’s California in Pleasanton. Be mindful of the restrictions in the parking lot. There is plenty of space on the street though I’ve not had an issue. We’ll cycle down Foothill to Kilkare\, then Calaveras to the summit. The route back is on Pleasanton Sunol Rd and Valley. \nYou have options of shorting the route up to 20 miles by deleting Kilkare Rd or Calaveras or both. This will make for a loop with less elevation and longer breaks. \nStay for lunch at Lucky’s outdoor patio at the end of the ride if interested. \nYou may sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com. DESCRIPTION:easy\, flats /10-12 mph/27.5 miles/elevation 250 ft\nMeet at the front entrance of 21st Amendment this Saturday\, 8:15 a.m for a 8:30 start.  \nAbout the ride: this is an Alameda loop to the west end breweries and the Seaplane Ferry via the MLK Shoreline Trail at an easy relaxed touring pace. On the return\, we will cycle along the Alameda Beach and Oyster Bay Trail back to the start. The route promises great views of the estuary and across the bay. A quick coffee break is an option pending the group. \nAfter the ride: let’s enjoy the 21st Augustfest and all it’s offerings. Music\, food\, beer!!
