Parking is available on Blanding and Clement Ave. We are going to ride with some steep hills above Solano ave to Gayley Rd which is on the edge of UC Berkeley. Elevation Gain of 968 ft so there will be climbing than my past routes up Solano ave. We’ll be riding near BART at West Oakland if you interested in riding but not as far. SUMMARY:Ride Around San Francisco
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, August 27th\nModerate climbs in the ride: 1300 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 24 miles \nMeet at the Ferry Bldg\, by the water side of The Slanted Door 9:45AM and ride at 10:00AM.  \nWe will ride to and through Golden Gate Park\, along Ocean Beach\, climb up Land’s End through Seacliff and up to the GG Bridge.  Then down Lincoln to the new Tunnel Tops Park\, then through the Marina and Cow Hollow shops\, and return along Embarcadero.  We will stop at Arguello Grocery/Velo Cafe\, plus again at TT Park.  Weekends in SF are fairly bike-friendly and fun riding.  The only trick is to avoid the really bad hills – which we will – and to bring lots of layers (it can be both hot then foggy/windy/cold). \nRide Leader: Steven Yoder  510 394-8684 — email: steve@zlcsoftware.comBring a helmet\, carry a nutritional bar\, bring a bottle of water and $ for food.
