SUMMARY:Bayfair BART to Montclair and back the flatlands of Berkeley\, Oakland & San Leandro
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, Oct. 2nd\nSomewhat Hilly with flats ride: elevation 1568 ft\, 10-15 mph\, approx 40 miles\nLet’s take BART and meet at 9:50 am at the front entrance of Bayfair BART. By arriving at 9:50 am\, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. The ride rolls at 10:15 AM from the BayFair BART and climb the Oakland hills and descent down Claremont Ave. We’ll stop for a coffee break or a lunch break along the way as we ride back return via the flatlands\, through Berkeley\, Oakland and Alameda. Bring water\, food and money. \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-788-0597 by Friday 8pm. \nBring water\, snack\, money for BART and food. Rain Cancels. The ride will be canceled if there 90 plus degree weather or a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday. We’ll travel south on Alvarado St\, through the neighborhoods\, past by Bayfair BART head to Castro Valley to Redwood Road back to the start. \nThere will be a post ride social at one of the local breweries for those who are interested. \nMeet 9:30 am for a 10:00 start at the San Leandro Bart Station. \nCome with your bike mechanically sound\, air in tires.
