DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Mar 7th\, 2026\nFlat ride: 528 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 39 miles \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-788-0597 by Friday 8pm or fill out the Ride Waiver form.\nMake sure to fill out the Ride Waiver form. \nMeet in front of Shaka Shack (formerly Little House Café)\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 9:50 AM and ride at 10:00 AM. Parking is available on Blanding and Clement Ave. We are going be riding through Oakland to Richmond and have lunch at Masa\, located at 199 Park Place\, Richmond. In returning we might use the Water Shuttle on the Oakland side (located in Jack London Square to get back to Alameda.  Elevation Gain of 528 ft so it is definitely a flat ride. We’ll be riding by the West Oakland BART at if you interested in riding but not as far. If so contact me so we can make arrangements to meet you. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, March 14th\nFerry Building to Marin Headlands to Twin Peaks\nApprox 37 miles\, 2900 ft.\nLet’s take BART and meet at 10:20 am at the pier behind NE corner of the San Francisco Ferry Building. You may sign the waiver ahead of time on cherrycitycyclists.com. Here is Ride Waiver Form link. \nRide rolls at 10:30 am This ride will take us to the very best views overlooking downtown San Francisco – so bring your best cameras and we will get some memorable photos. The route will go along Embarcadero and through the Marina District\, then across the GGB and up Cozumel to Hawk Hill Vista Point.  Then there is a great descent\, and we loop back across the GGB\, then west and south along the ocean\, then east on Taraval and up to Twin Peaks.  We will return straight to the top of Market Street and down to Civic Center BART.  There are climbs up Marin Headlands and up Twin Peaks; the rest is relatively easy.  There will be lots of regroups; this is an enjoyable/touring ride.  \nHere is a link to the ride-map on RIDE WITH GPS.  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54117294   If you are a CCC member you can download this map to the phone APP and utilize the turn-by-turn instructions. \n \nBring water\, snack\, money for BART and food stop along Taraval. DESCRIPTION:flat/10-14 mph/approx 37 miles and options below/elevation approx 2\,100 ft\nJoin first time ride leader Laura on a fun Tamale Ride to Sunol. \nMeet 9:00 a.m. in front of the United Methodist Church in Castro Valley. If you are driving\, park on the street and not in the church parking lot.  \nFor those who want a shorter distance\, meet 10:30 am at Lucky’s Ca at 6155 W Las Positas Pleasanton parking lot. This will be a 18 mile route which includes Happy Valley Rd on the return\, elevation 625 ft. \nLaura’s Castro Valley group will rendezvous with Vicky Ma’s group at Lucky’s. We will travel together along Foothill Rd to the Sunol Corner Market. \nTo show our appreciation\, if you were a 2025 BOB Double Century volunteer (which included free club membership) you will receive one FREE tamale from the Sunol Corner Market. For others who would like to join us\, the cost for the tamales are $5.00. There are other lite snack items and groceries at the store available for your purchase. \nAll participants must RSVP by Thursday\, March 19 so that we can get an approximate order for the tamales. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Mar 28th\, 2026\nFlat ride: 500 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 20 miles \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-394-8684 by Friday 8pm or fill out the Ride Waiver form.\nMake sure to fill out the Ride Waiver form. \nThis Saturday has all of the big NO KINGS protest rallies\, so we plan to have this ride end at 11:30 — in time to go to the rally in Alameda or Oakland. \nMeet in front of Shaka Shack (formerly Little House Café)\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 9:20 AM and ride at 9:30 AM.
