DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, February 8th\nModerate hills in the ride: 950/1850 ft elevation\, 10-15 mph\, approx. 25/35 miles \nMeet in front of Shaka Shack (formerly Little House Café)\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 10:15AM and ride at 10:30AM. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nSaturday\, February 15th\nModerately Steep Hills in some areas: 1\,391 ft elevation\, 8-15 mph\, approx. 39 miles \nThis is a RSVP event text me at 510-788-0597 by Friday 8pm.\nMeet in front of Shaka Shack (formerly Little House Café)\, 2300 Blanding Ave\, Alameda at 10:20 AM and ride at 10:30 AM. Parking is available on Blanding and Clement Ave. We are going be riding through Oakland to Solano Ave to UC Berkeley to Kensington and back to Oakland. We’ll have lunch at the Naval base. In returning we’ll use the Water Shuttle on the Oakland side (located in Jack London Square to get back to Alameda.  Elevation Gain of 1\,391ft so it is not a flat ride. We’ll be riding by the West Oakland BART at if you interested in riding but not as far. If so contact me so we can make arrangements to meet you. SUMMARY:A Wine Country Loop: Alexander Valley
DESCRIPTION:moderate terrain/8-12 mph/approx. 47 miles/elevation 1\,850 ft\nMeet 10:00 am at the front entrance of Worldmark Windsor for a counterclockwise loop around the Alexander Valley wine region. \nWe ride through part of Healdsburg town with an option to stop for a small bite & coffee at either “Quail and Condor” or “Plank”. From there\, we’ll continue on the route to Geyserville\, featuring Francis Coppola Winery\, then up Canyon Rd to the Dry Creek General Store. Our ride then crosses Lambert Bridge Rd to West Dry Creek returning on the backroads of the wine country. As we pass many vineyards along the way\, we might want to stop at Hop Kiln Vineyard for a look before crossing Wholer Bridge back to the start.
