Approx 30 miles;  1300 feet climbing;  average speed around 10 mph (leisurely)

This is a route that goes around the edge of SF counterclockwise: through Embarcadero, Fisherman’s Wharf, Marina, by the GGB, Seacliff, Land’s End, Great Highway, the Zoo, Ocean Ave, Monterey, Mission Bay, and back to Embarcadero/Ferry Building.  Mostly bike friendly roads and only moderate climbing, with lots of regroupings and rest stops.

Start and end at the Ferry Building.  Meet at 10:30 at the back of the Slanted Door restaurant.  Bring water, bars, $$ for coffee/food stops, and lots of layers to handle possible wind, fog and sunny warmth.
