Elevation 2500 ft climbing; average speed around 10 mph, approx 26 miles.

Meet at 11:00 am. Start and end at Alameda Shaka Shack (close to Fruitvale BART). We will climb gently up to Montclair, then do the more difficult but nice climb up to Skyline via the Burdeck/Butters route.  Then we will go down Redwood Road, over Pinehurst through the redwoods of Canyon and the climb back up to Skyline, then all downhill via Shepard Canyon, Park Blvd and 16th back to Alameda.  All scenic back roads worth all of the climbing.

The ride will be canceled if the chance of rain is 30% or more.
