Start in Orinda and ride the best cycling roads of the area.

1000 or 3000 ft, approx 16 or 35 miles.

Meet at 10:45 am at the Orinda Library (cafe) 2 blocks north of Orinda BART.
  
Best to arrive early, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. Ride rolls at 11:00 am from Orinda.  We start with a fairly moderate route, and then offer a more challenging second loop.  We start with an easy climb over to Moraga, to Lafayette via the mostly downhill bike trail, then back to Orinda.  Then those who wish to continue with a more challenging route will ride out Miner Rd to Happy Valley, to Bear Creek, Alhambra Valley, and Camino Diablo back to Orinda.  Mostly very scenic country roads and trails.

The ride will be canceled if there 90 plus degree weather or a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday. Check Friday evening from this Weather Underground link: https://www.wunderground.com/hourly/us/ca/orinda. Check for the hours between 11am and 3pm. Bring water, food and money.
