Some climbs but not severe; 2000 feet; Approx 40 miles

This is a good ride to take BART: we will meet at 10:20am at the Pleasant Hill BART main entrance. Arrive at 10:20 am, so we’ll have time to sign our Ride Waiver form. Ride rolls at 10:30 am. 

We will ride West over Pig Farm Hill to Pinole, then along the Bay Trail to Crockett – where there are Artisan Sandwiches – then return along the Carquinez Scenic Drive (no cars allowed), and South from Martinez back to Pleasant Hill BART.  This is a scenic, bicycle-friendly route with mostly gentle 

The ride will be canceled if there is a 30% or greater chance of rain for Saturday. Check Friday evening from this Weather Underground link: https://www.wunderground.com/hourly/us/ca/walnut creek .
