A Wine Country Loop: Quail & Condor, Coppola, Stuhlmueller, Stonestreet, Jimtown
moderate terrain/8-12 mph/42 miles/elevation 854 ft
There are foods, wineries, views and great cycling roads around the Alexander Valley wine region. Those of us familiar with the area find ourselves wizzing by interesting spots with no time to stop. So many places to experience. We are checking out some of the highlights along this route.
Meet 9:45 am for a 10:00 start at the front entrance of the Russian River Brewery for a clockwise loop.
We’ll ride through Healdsburg town on the way out and on the return. Our first stop is for a small bite & coffee at “Quail and Condor”. From there, we’ll continue to Francis Coppola Winery and then to a quiet dead end road to Stuhlmueller Winery. Jimtown has reopened. Shall we pause there after a stop at Stonestreet Winery? From this location, we head back to the start. For those interested, a post ride visit, cold beer and food at Russian River Brewery is calling…
